joined Panzerregiment 1 in 1937 or 1938,
served during the Polish Campaign as Unteroffizier and commander of a Panzerkampfwagen II with the 2nd Company,
promoted to Leutnant der Reserve on 01.04.1940,
served during the French Campaign as orderly officer of the I. Abteilung,
continued to serve with Panzerregiment 1 also at the beginning of the Russian Campaign,
Siegfried Otto survived WWII and was still alive in 1987
