Born: 30.11.1915 in Petersberg

  • joined the 5th Company of Panzerregiment 1 in October 1937,

  • served in the 5th Company during the Polish and French Campaigns,

  • promoted to Unteroffizier in 1940,

  • transferred to 3rd Company of Panzerabteilung A on 25.06.1940, which became 3rd Company of Panzerregiment 18 shortly thereafter,

  • is listed as Feldwebel in 3rd Company of Panzerregiment 18 in December 1942,

  • further service unknown,

  • Erwin Serfling survived WWII and moved to West Germany in 1953.
