While working on the book, we reviewed hundreds of military and civilian biographies. We encountered many names and faces in photos, albums or in personal accounts. There wasn't room to include everyone in the book. Therefore, we will introduce people to you, who are not mentioned in the book, in greater detail on this page.

Born: 16.11.1917 in Hannover joined Panzerregiment 1 in November 1938, served with the 3th Company during the Polish and French Campaigns, is still listed as Obergefreiter in 3rd Company in September 1941, transferred to Panzerersatzabteilung 1 on 28.02.1942, further fate unknown Awards Panzer Assault Badge in Silver (1940), EKII (1941)

Kronfeld, Walter

Born: 27.07.1916 in Wandersleben Died: 1977 joined the 3th Company of Panzerregiment 1 as a conscript in October 1936, transferred along with his company to the newly formed Panzerregiment 11 (1st Company) one year later, left active service as Unteroffizier der Reserve in October 1938, was reactivated in the course of mobilization and participated in the Western Campaign, transferred to the newly formed 6th Company of Panzerregiment 1 in October 1940, served as Unteroffizier
