transferred to Panzerersatzabteilung 1 on 27.11.1939,
transferred to Ingenieur-Offizier-Akademie on 16.01.1940, started training as a Kraftfahr-Park officer,
promoted to Leutnant on 01.05.1944,
transferred to Artillerieregiment 1 in May 1944,
transferred to the staff of Panzerjägerabteilung 18 in January 1945, serving as Kraftfahr-officer
Heribert Hegenbarth survived WWII and worked after war for the Bundesbahn (federal railroad) in Essen.
