Died: 19.07.1945 in Soviet POW camp Golubowka

  • joined Panzerregiment 1 in November 1938,

  • served as Panzerschütze with the Headquarters Company of the II. Abteilung during the Polish and French campaigns,

  • remained in service of Panzerregiment 1,

  • was transferred to the Headquarters Company of the I. Abteilung as part of the reorganization on 15.01.1943,

  • MIA as Stabsgefreiter in 4th Company of Panzerregiment 1 near Lviv in July 1944,

  • died one year later in a Soviet POW camp, last rank: Stabsgefreiter.
