served at the beginning of WWII as a Gefreiter with the Headquarter Company of II. Abteilung,
slightly wounded on 29.11.1942, while serving as Feldwebel with Headquarter Company of II. Abteilung,
was transferred to the Headquarters Company of the I. Abteilung as part of the reorganization on 15.01.1943,
KIA on 12.03.1945 near Gardeny serving as an Oberfeldwebel (OA) and platoon leader with the 4th Company.

German Cross in Gold (06.01.1945), EKI, EKII, Panzer Assault Badge Grade II for 25 Engagements (at least, grade III and IV is possible)
