  • joined the 8th Company of Panzerregiment 1 in November 1937,

  • served with the 8th Company in the Polish and French Campaigns,

  • hospital stay from 02.01.1941 until 04.02.1941,

  • transferred to the 7th Company of Panzerersatzabteilung 1 on 18.02.1941 and shortly thereafter, to the 2nd Company of Panzerabteilung 101,

  • experienced the beginning of the Russian Campaign with this unit,

  • his unit became part of the newly formed Panzerregiment 24 in December 1941,

  • several hospital stays from 16.01.1942 until 03.03.1942, then transferred to Panzerersatzabteilung 1,

  • promoted to Unteroffizier,

  • transferred back to Panzerregiment 1 (2nd Company) on 25.07.1942,

  • another hospital stay from 14.11.1942 until 18.01.1943,

  • is listed as Unteroffizier in 2. Feld-Ersatz-Bataillon 81 on December 1943 and as Unteroffizier in the 6th Company of Panzerregiment 1 in February 1945,

  • Hermann Mosebach served most likely until the end of the war with the regiment and went in US captivity,

  • in 1955, he moved to Baesweiler (Aachen) in West Germany, where he lived until his death.
