Died: 1974 in Hamburg

 
  • joined the 2nd Company of 4. Kraftfahr-Abteilung on 01.04.1934,

  • transferred along with his company to Kraftfahr-Lehrkommando II Ohrdruf on 23.07.1934 (5th Lehrtrupp),

  • transferred to the newly formed Panzerregiment 1 (regimental staff) in October 1935,

  • pursued the career of an NCO,

  • served as Unteroffizier, Feldwebel and Oberfeldwebel with the regimental staff until August 1943,

  • transferred to Army Group F on 22.08.1943,

  • transferred to Panzerabteilung z.b.V. 12 on 07.03.1944 and changed into an officer career,

  • promoted to Leutnant on 01.12.1944,

  • Albert Dörl survived WWII and settled after 1945 in Hamburg
