Born: 06.02.1910 in Leutewitz

  • Nothing is known about his pre-war service,

  • transferred from 2nd Company Panzerersatzabteilung 1 to the 5th Company Panzerregiment 1 on 01.11.1939,

  • served as a platoon leader during the French Campaign,

  • left Panzerregiment 1 following the disbandment of the 5th Company in the summer of 1940,

  • further service in WWII unknown.

  • Adolf Steiger survived World War II and lived in Paderborn, West Germany, after 1945.
