transferred in August 1940 to Panzerabteilung A, but returned to Panzerregiment 1 in December 1940,
served in 1941 again in the 2nd Company,
KIA in 1943 as a platoon leader in the 4th Company (heart shot), last rank: Oberfeldwebel
