KIA: 21.06.1940 in Langres (France)

 

  • joined Panzerregiment 1 in November 1938,

  • transferred in August 1939 to Panzerersatzabteilung 1, did not take part in the Polish Campaign,

  • transferred to the 5th Company of Panzerregiment 1 in 1940,

  • Severly wounded on 17.06.1940 near Grey, died four days later in a hospital in Langres, last rank: Gefreiter
