Born: 10.01.1914 in Langerfeld / Wuppertal

  • joined 1st Company of Aufklärungs-Abteilung 4 in November 1934,

  • transferred in October 1937 to the 3rd Company of Panzerregiment 1,

  • pursued the career of an Unteroffizier,

  • transferred along with his company to the newly formed 6th Company of Panzerregiment 36 in November 1938,

  • served during the Polish, French and Russian Campaigns as Unteroffizier/ Feldwebel and panzer commander with the 6th Company of Panzerregiment 36,

  • changed into an officer career, promoted to Leutnant on 01.10.1943,

  • transferred in December of 1943 to the Tiger training courses at Paderborn,

  • transferred in December 1944 to schwere Panzerabteilung 503,

  • further fate unknown
